Life doesn’t happen by accident. If you are reading this you are alive and you have a purpose. If you have not figured it out yet, that is okay. It takes time. If you feel disappointed, know this; Every choice that we make determines our future. That can be a scary thought if we have made a ton of horrible mistakes and decisions, as most of the general population does, but it can also be a motivator for us to change, learn, grow and do better.

No one is immune to hard times and difficult situations. Wallowing in them if that is where you are now will not help. It will hinder you from making progress. Stay connected with positive people who care about your best interests. Watch comedies, pray, read scripture, volunteer at a homeless shelter or rock babies at hospitals. Be very careful of what you visually or audibly take in. Maybe it’s time to take a break from watching the morning or evening news. If anything will keep you down hearing negative news reports will. You know the saying, you are what you eat? I believe that applies to our thought life as well as physical.

Although your circumstance is significant and you don’t understand why it’s happening. You may also blame yourself…However, maybe it’s not really about you. Perhaps what you are experiencing will give you the chance down the road to help someone else get through the same situation. I know it can be hard. I’ve been through the fire as we all have.

We need to do everything in our power to focus on the bigger picture.

Someone is always watching.

You just may be the inspiration they need to get through the fire as well.
